We got one going in New Orleans too! October 6th noon-UNTIL… . It’s being discussed now whether it will be in Jackson Square or Lafayette Square, or both. Seems like it will take off from Jackson Square and second line/march to Lafayette Square where those who choose to occupy will set up camp. A general assembly will be held Sunday October 2 at noon, during the anarchist picnic at Washington Square Park off Frenchmen Street. This is in solidarity with the protesters around the country, but with problems and issues specific to New Orleans in mind as well.
Yeah, there is an Occupy Nashville! I’ve had this urgent feeling to get involved with these protests… so glad to have the opportunity. This could get big, ya’ll. REALLY BIG.
